Saturday 21st March Llangennith Highs & Lows Leader: Andrew Morgan 6 miles Tel: 07719-409504 Moderate Description: Come along to enjoy views over Loughor Estuary and Whiteford Point from the Bulwark prehistoric hill fort on Llanmadoc Down then visit the top of Ryers Down for equally agreeable views. Passing through farmland with a few stiles to cross, we’ll see if the fabled LG10a footpath is open and useable after years of neglect (our work party went out in the pouring rain to cut down the undergrowth!). If it is passable then there will be good views of the downs from an angle not seen for some time. N.B. This will be a slow-paced walk taking about 3-4 hours with plenty of stops to re-group. After the walk join me in the King’s Head in Llangennith for a bit of a social. Please note it is advised that this walk is unsuitable for dogs.
